Orient Industry, a maker of super expensive and super real sex dolls, launched an exhibit of super creepy “Love Dolls” in Tokyo this week. The “Artificial OTOME (girl) Museum”, in collaboration with the Vanilla Galler, is presenting the Eerily realistic doll exhibit. We’re all for sex toys and sex dolls, but if you’re going to spend $10,000 to bang a silicone doll, it’s time to get out more.
The sex doll brand started in 1977 when the future CEO of Orient Industry decided to “Make the kind of doll that he knew men needed.” He came up with Hohoemi, who was a “simple lady compared with the sophisticated silicone dolls of today, but she certainly was a popular and durable creation,” the company says. “Made from urethane and PVC, Hohoemi was essentially a head, bust and waist with a hole. That’s it.”
Below is Hohoemi; isn’t she cute? Imagine going over to some guy’s place and seeing her sitting on the coffee table.
Hohoemi was replaced by Omokage, in 1982, when they moved onto full-body dolls. Omokage was made of latex and had detachable arms and legs–in case someone drops by and you have to throw her in the closet.
Next was Kagemi in 1987, and the Hana Sisters in 1997, with new models appearing every few years. The dolls were gaining popularity with “widowers”, the company says. Sure.
In 1998 Orient Industry fully established itself with the all-silicone”Candy Girl” series, “a whole new breed of love doll” that made a guy feel like he was fornicating with a real girl.
In 2000, the company introduced “Fantastic, an anime character style love doll for the anime nerds who have no idea how to talk to a real girl.
From 2005 too 2008, the latest versions of the Candy Girl started to arrive, and the company “heralded a new generation with the ultra realistic “Ange” Real Love Doll.
Today’s “steampunk” love doll. She’ll kick your ass. Then you can bang her.
The “Undressed” Exhibit, “A Brief History of Underwear” at The Victoria & Albert Museum in London, traces the evolution of underwear design from the 18th century to the present day. The show features over “200 examples of underwear for ladies and gentlemen highlighting the enduring themes of innovation and luxury.”
From sadomasochistic corsets made from whalebone to padded bras for women and padded boxer shorts for dudes, the exhibit is an incredible show of undies.
“From the custom-made, such as a rare example of home-made ‘stays’ worn by a working woman in England in the 18th-century, to pieces by current designers including Stella McCartney, and Paul Smith, the exhibition explores the relationship between underwear and fashion,” say the exhibit’s curators. “It covers notions of the ideal body, and the ways that cut, fit, fabric and decoration can reveal issues of gender, sex and morality.”
The exhibit runs through March, 2017.

We like anything to do with boning, so when we saw this short film called “Drone Boning,” we liked how someone creatively used drones. The synopsis of the film is “Aerial footage of people boning, captured by drones.”
Film curator Meghan Oretsky of Vimeo, has created two fun, sex-centric channels called Let’s Get Horizontal, which is “full of innuendo and good old fashioned NSFW sexy times” and Genius Genitalia, which is an “ode to private parts.”
Filmmakers, Ghost + Cow’s John Carlucci and Brandon LaGanke told us that Drone Boning was conceived when Brandon was on a commercial shoot that was using a drone, and during a shot, he imagined how hilarious it would be if he unexpectedly came upon people having sex. Carlucci says “He got back from that job, told me about it and I thought: “Yes, definitely, let’s do it. Why “Drone Boning? Because it was an awesome idea.”
The drone, an S1000 from DJI, was flown by the a professional drone team, Spark Aerial from San Diego, an aerial cinematography company, that also has a a drone flight school.
The actually boning itself looks like you’re in an airplane coming in for the landing and you see people doing it. The filmmakers were successful in capturing the voyeuristic thrill of seeing people doing something you’re not supposed to be seeing.
According to Carlucci “All of these boning scenarios were set up. We hired all the actors. We spent a day scouting, and picking the most picturesque and isolated places. Then on our shoot day we would roll in, send up the drone place talent, they would disrobe, bone and then we’d grab everything and bounce. We shot over a holiday weekend so there were people everywhere. We were in and out in about 20-30 minutes,” he says, which is a lot longer than most sex acts take.
Having sex is public or outdoors consistently ranks as one of the top three sex fantasies, (closely following having sex with someone you’re not supposed to have sex with.) “Drone Boning” takes you from lush vineyards to open fields to the backyard of someone’s barn.
And like the thrill of having sex outdoors, the crew was afraid of getting caught. “We were terrified of being arrested while we were shooting it because we never knew if the cops were going to show up and pinch us for what we were shooting,” says Carlucci.
For those who love jewelry as much as they do penis, designer brand Yves St. Laurent has created a matching set of penis earrings and a penis necklace. Priced at $345, the “penis dangle earring” in “patinatated golden brass”, is completely sold out online, but is available at YSL’s 29 stores across the county. For pierced ears only, the earrings are marketed to women.
Although we love penises, especially matching ones, the black stuff around the head of the mini peens looks kinda funky. Despite this, these things are flying off the shelves. Each penis is engraved with “Saint Laurent Paris” on each side so everyone knows its the real thing.

The “penis pendant”, also in “golden brass”, sells for $795.00 and sold out immediately online. The chain is adjustable so you can move the little weiner up and down on your neck, as your friends point and laugh at it.
Legendary fashion designer Yves St. Laurent was at his height in the 1960’s and 70’s, and according the The Telegraph, was “the King of radical chic.”
According to his obituary in The New York Times, “During a career that ran from 1957 to 2002, he was largely responsible for changing the way modern women dress, putting them into pants both day and night, into peacoats and safari jackets, into “le smoking” (as the French call a man’s tuxedo jacket), and into leopard prints, trench coats and, for a time in the 1970’s, peasant-inspired clothing in rich fabrics.”

For anyone who wants the designer “knock off” version of St. Laurent’s penis jewelry, Etsy has tons of jokey penis earrings, necklaces, and dangling jewelry for a guy to wear directly on his family jewels. There is one called a “Dick Thang”, to “adorn his penis” for only $14.99.
Someone else is selling a shiny penis brass keychain ” for only $9.90 and another penis lover offers a fancy mini “penis ring” for $11.72. Many of the descriptions of the jewelry say stuff like “Perfect for church on Sunday or brunch with Grandma.” And from the number of reviews on some of these phallic items–reviews in the hundreds and thousands, X-rated penis jewelry is apparently “in.” Who knew?
The Gender Code: A New Documentary On Gender On Youtube
The Gender Code is a new documentary on gender and sexuality by filmmaker and artist, Luka. Luka is a 29 year old trans activist and visionary from Ireland, who identifies as gender feminine, and who has spent the past 6 years creating this documentary that examines gender and sexuality in a different way than what is culturally defined in today’s society. Luka created the film: writing, directing, animating, producing and appearing in it; which is an amazing accomplishment for one person, to create a film almost 2 hours long that is so professionally produced, visually and intellectually compelling.
The film is very beautifully animated and artistic, which makes it a pleasure to watch. But, more importantly is the subject matter it explores, from the POV of trans, feminine, non-binary and gender-fluid people. There are many interviews, historical news footage covering the GLBTQ+ history and movements, as well as some disturbing flashes of trans-phobia and gender violence. Yet, the ending is very powerful, and visualizes a hopeful new paradigm of gender fluidity beyond what we recognize in today’s culture that is inclusive, and embraces both our inner and outer masculine and feminine qualities on a dynamic spectrum that humanity can embrace.
