How To Shave Your Pubes Without Hurting Yourself

Since the majority of people say they want their partners to trim down the pubic ‘fro, there are a number of things you can do to remain hair free — and pain free. Most men say they like women to be either shaved, waxed, and the labia cleared of brush, but did you know that 80% of women think men should manscape below the belt?

If you’ve ever had your lady business bikini waxed, you’ll know that it hurts while that is happening, then afterwards feels likes your skin is sunburned. Shaving remains the most popular way to remove the pubies, but there are things you can add to your shaving routine to cut down the painful aftermath; which includes irritation, ingrown hairs, and razor bumps. “It” just needs to be soothed.

1.) Take a shower or bath first to loosen up the skin downstairs. Then use shaving cream before you shave your lady bits or man pubes.

2.) Trim down the bush first. It makes the process go much smoother. (Be “smoove.”) Use new scissors. You don’t want to get your pubies caught in the razor. Especially important if you’re shaving the “boys.”

3.) Using a disposable or regular razor is safer than an electric one, as you don’t want to damage the family business. Always use a fresh blade, as a dull one won’t get the job done. Trim in the direction of the hair growth to keep from developing razor bumps. If you want a genius electric razor that protects you from accidental cuts and nicks, the “Lawn Mower 2.0” from Manscaped gets “up close and personal” for “hard to navigate areas.”

4.) I highly recommend “Lady Business Oil ” by Lady Suite. Love. The slightly orange smell is really subtle and nice, the oil isn’t greasy, it dries quickly, and the stuff is soothing. Plus the pink bottle is cute. Wait five minutes to apply to your labia business.

6.) Manscaped also offers an entire line of below the belt grooming products for men “to get the job done” including safety razors and after shave products “formulated for your nether region.” Their spray on “crop reviver” contains aloe vera, which soothes, and witch hazel, which acts as an anti-inflammatory. Besides, they say “Trimming the hedges makes the tree look bigger. Need we say more?”
