Farewell to a Goddess: The Feminist Sexpert Remembers Jesse Jane

AVN Expo - Day 1 - at the Hard Rock Hotel - Las Vegas, Nevada on January 16, 2013

A porn star powerhouse. This may be the best way to describe Jesse Jane, the actress and adult performer who passed away Jan. 25 at age 43.

A true leader and trailblazer in the industry, Jane brought far more than her signature sex appeal to every role; also suffusing every portrayal with strength, grit, class and considerable acting skill.

Jane is perhaps best known for her signature role as tough gal Jules Steel in the phenomenally popular Pirates franchise; perhaps the most popular adult film series of all time, one that enjoyed immense crossover success–no lie, they even carried a soft-core version on the shelves of Blockbuster Video. I wager plenty of renters went home happy with this title.

Aside from a swashbuckling pirate, Jane portrayed a secret agent and rescue fighter in Code of Honor, a boxer in Fighters, and a fighter pilot in Top Guns, a personal favorite of The Feminist Sexpert. She basked in her power and moxy in titles such as The Female of the Species, directed by Kayden Kross, and Jesse: Alpha Female, and played an empowered erotica author in Romance and a tough as nails DA in Sex and Corruption, directed by Kay Brandt. And she even appeared in a porn parody of the blockbuster feminist comedy known as Bridesmaids.

Outside the adult arena, Jane distinguished herself also in the realm of mainstream film; appearing in the female-driven actioners Busty Cops and Female Fight Squad, along with a number of music videos and the television show Entourage. She also served as an executive producer for both hardcore and mainstream films, launched a successful adult toy line and co-hosted the sex advice show Night Calls.

A cancer survivor and devoted mom in real life, Jesse Jane won multiple adult industry awards and was adored among her peers. Much like a shooting star, this angel blazed away too soon; leaving an indelible path of starshine in her ethereal wake. Rest in Power, Goddess.

The Girls Of Rick’s Cabaret New York Offer Five Suggestions How To Make Your Valentine’s Day Special

Seduction and romance are in the air come that special day in February. And where better to get some suggestions for Valentine’s Day than from the fabulously seductive and smart sexy dancers of one of the world’s top strip clubs, Rick’s Cabaret New York.

“Lots of us girls will be stripping out of red lingerie during Valentines week; my suggestion is that guys and girls both buy sexy undies to model for each other,” Rick’s dancer Miranda says.

“Chocolates and champagne make the day,” Vanessa says. “Make sure you have plenty on hand.”

“It’s certainly a good night to introduce something new in the bedroom,” says Rick girl Kelly. “As far as what…well, use your imagination!”

“In the club, our guests show their appreciation by ‘making it rain’ over us,” dancer Tanya says about the time-honored tradition of throwing cash at strippers. “Valentine’s Day should be when you show your lover you really appreciate them.”

“Hey, why not come to the club?!” says Rick dancer Fiona. “Rick’s is celebrating Valentine’s Day for the entire Valentines week, and our celebrity chef, Jayson Margulies, is creating all sorts of exquisite desserts. What better place to bring your honey or come in looking for one?”

There really is no excuse to make this Valentine’s Day the best you have ever had, or even to get yourself down to the NASDAQ-listed, mid-Manhattan Rick’s and celebrate getting your heart on.

The Art of Pup Play: A Glimpse into the Growing Kink in LGBTQ+ Communities

In the vast landscape of evolving kinks, one gaining traction is pup play—a unique form of role play predominantly within LGBTQ+ communities. Similar to the friendly world of furries, where individuals wear furry animal costumes, pup play enthusiasts immerse themselves in a playful mindset inspired by puppy behavior.

Exploring Pup Play: Beyond Fursuits and Fantasy

Pup play is a form of role play that goes beyond the conventions of the BDSM community. Participants, known as “pups” or “handlers,” mentally, physically, and emotionally take on roles resembling playful puppies or responsible guides called “handlers.” Contrary to common misconceptions, pup play isn’t solely focused on sexual pleasure; it’s about embracing a different facet of one’s identity.

Pups and handlers wear distinctive pup play gear, featuring essential items like a pup mask, a collar, knee pads, and a leash. Handlers engage with their pups through playful interactions, involving pup toys, belly rubs, commands, and attention. In return, the pups express their enthusiasm by barking, playfully crawling on their knees and hands, and welcoming further affection from the handlers.

While pup play has been around for a while, it’s still gaining popularity, and those who immerse themselves in it create their unique “pup persona.” This creative exploration allows individuals to step out of their daily routines and embrace a more playful side.

Community and Connection

The pup play community is characterized by openness and friendliness. Individuals connect through community apps, Facebook, and regular events called “moshes,” often held in LGBTQ+ venues. The overarching theme among roleplaying kinks is the desire to escape the monotony of daily life, rekindling the playful spirit many experienced in childhood.

One of Ryan’s pups told us: “I was a very playful and positive kid, but as I grew older, adulthood brought responsibilities like paying bills, pretending to laugh at my bosses’ jokes, and being exposed to sad and depressing news from around the world. However, when I put on my pup gear, I can forget all that for a moment.”

A survey highlighted that pup play is predominantly popular among queer men. This could be attributed to societal expectations that cast men as more dominant figures, perpetuating the pressure to conform to notions of professionalism and maturity. These expectations might prompt individuals to seek relaxation and take a break, and engaging in role-playing can fulfill that need.

So, why is it so popular amongst LGBTQ+ communities, you might ask? Ryan told us that the reason could be that the LGBTQ+ community is known for giving its members the space and freedom and being open-minded. “With so many different kink groups in our community, we seem to be less judgy about how people behave or dress.”

The LGBTQ+ community, known for its inclusive and open-minded nature, provides a welcoming space for those seeking unconventional forms of expression. However, the appeal of pup play isn’t confined to any particular group. Ryan, the owner of PuppyPlayExpert.com, notes a rising interest from women and straight couples, including CEOs, lawyers, and doctors. For them, the puppy play mask becomes a transformative tool, allowing them to shed the stresses of their professional lives and embrace a carefree, playful existence, even if it’s only for a moment.

Pup Play: More Than a Kink, a Community

Although a significant portion of the community views their roleplaying as having a sexual aspect, Ryan underscores that it goes beyond “only” sexual activities. He emphasizes the significance of community and the pure enjoyment of having fun. Whether stepping into the “pup headspace” or releasing real-life worries, the essence of pup play is found in the shared experience. It serves as a testament to the diverse and accepting nature of LGBTQ+ communities, offering individuals a space to explore, connect, and discover freedom in the art of pup play.

If you’re intrigued by pup play, Ryan emphasizes that the community is exceptionally welcoming to beginners. On his website, he provides a guide on how to ease into the world of pup play. Yet, it’s understandable that some may cast curious or perplexed glances when encountering those engaged in pup play activities. Despite potential judgment, a valuable lesson from the pup play community extends beyond personal participation. Even if pup play isn’t your cup of tea, the community teaches us the importance of occasionally stepping back, reconnecting with the simple joy of “enjoying and having fun.” In the midst of our often stressful daily lives, it’s crucial to refocus on ourselves and our natural desire to let loose and enjoy life.

Product Review: Thrust Share by EdenFantasys

Picture taken from: https://www.edenfantasys.com/sex-toys-for-couples/vibrators-for-couples/thrust-share

I was sent the Thrust Share-Thrusting Remote Control Strapless Strap-on by EdenFantasys to review and share my thoughts on this product.  When the package was opened, the product was, let’s just say, not discreet by any means. A cubby that is long and deep for this secret is needed to store this beauty. Shhhh! The color is a pretty pink that feels smooth with simple grooves.

The hand curved grip for either yourself or your partner is a huge plus. It is used to penetrate your partner and give a ride, such as pegging.  It was fun times and a few laughs as this was my first shared product with thrust.  I expected a night of fun with my partner, our playtime was an, oh, my, my, my of giving and receiving unlike we have ever experienced before!

Picture taken from:https://www.edenfantasys.com/sex-toys-for-couples/vibrators-for-couples/thrust-share

The charge vs play time could be a little intimidating, as the charge last about 55 minutes and we discreetly used a little less play time due to the intensity and speed of product.  The value, volume & velocity lead me to a victory in my book.

Some of Thrust Share’s Features

There are so many qualities that make this toy amazing, such as:

  • It is a silicone strap-on with a thrust function.
  • Enhance your partner’s pleasure by adding 3 thrusting patterns of the toy to your passionate moves.
  • Feel every thrust more intensely with 10 delicious vibrating modes throbbing at your hungry G-spot.
  • Let a hot shower pour on your skin as you savor your fun, since the toy is completely waterproof.
  • Built-in control pad for one-hand operation
  • Remote-control for enticing couple play
  • Emits the phone-on-vibrate 3 out of 5 noise level
  • Enjoy the orgasm-inducing 5 out of 5 vibration intensity
  • Functions: 10 vibration patterns / Thrusting / Two motors

Let it do thrusting for you while you enjoying throbbing g-spot stimulation or move your hips for extra deep penetration. Either way, this unique strap-on makes you reach orgasmland on a very fast train.

Finally, the fact that it is waterproof is a plus in my books.  I actually put it in the tub to see if it was truly waterproof and it did not fail.  The most amazing part about this product is the price…only $159.99, but the sale price this month was $79.99.  I feel that is more than a steal.

How It Feels

The Thrust Share feels great and is made from 100%  silicone, has a smooth velvety feel with waterbed lubricant, (remember, do not use silicone lube with silicone toys), and it hypo-allergenic, latex free and phthalates free.  It is non-porous so it does not harbor bacteria.

Unveiling the Allure of Mature Pleasures in the Digital Era

Photo sent from:https://images.bazoom.net/43c6fc94-c405-4b15-a5d8-5cf8a3425245.png

In a world where the pursuit of pleasure knows no bounds, the digital age has flung open the doors to a diverse landscape of adult amusement. Gone are the days of seedy back alley shops and the hesitance of public scrutiny. Nowadays, just a click away, online sex shops offer something for everyone, with a recent surge in popularity seen in materials that appreciate the seasoned charm of maturity—mirroring society’s evolving perception of desire and sensuality.

The Charm of Experience: Why Maturity Matters in Adult Content

When it comes to adult entertainment, there’s been a notable shift towards a more mature narrative. No longer sidelined as a niche interest, stories and visuals championing the experienced and the wise have taken center stage, reflecting the desires of an audience that sees themselves in the characters portrayed.

Bestsellers in this genre aren’t about eternal youth but celebrate the depth that only life lived can etch into relationships. These stories go beyond the physical, delving into emotional connections rich with understanding and patience. It’s not simply about a late-in-life renaissance but acknowledging the continuous spectrum of passion that transcends age.

Social Perceptions and the Ageless Appeal of Sensuality

Amidst the fabric of society lies a tapestry of beliefs that, for the longest time, prioritized youth as the pinnacle of attractiveness. But as mature themes take the spotlight, you can witness the crumbling of ageist perceptions. The presence of adult content featuring more seasoned individuals has not only found an eager audience; it has also become a catalyst for a broader discussion about desire at every stage of life.

The powerful impact of seeing mature sensuality celebrated redefines desirability, sparking conversations that empower individuals to embrace their sexuality with confidence, regardless of the number of candles on their birthday cake.

Rise of Creators: Mature Experience Shaping Adult Media

The growing demand for mature content at any reputable sexy shop online has brought an increase in seasoned content creators who bring authenticity and relatability to the table. Imagine a creator who decides to share their artistry later in life, enriching the adult entertainment industry with narratives that are not just fantasies but reflections of real desires and interactions.

These creators are not simply contributing; they are revolutionizing the perception of age and sexuality, showing that passion and creativity need no age limit. They wield their life experiences as tools to craft stories and scenes that resonate on a deeper level with their audiences, blending the lines between reality and reverie.

Embracing Adult Wellness Through Mature Themes

Beyond the pursuit of pleasure, the intricate stories woven within mature adult content carry the potential for therapeutic benefits. For some, these narratives act as a mirror, reflecting personal stories and challenges, thereby offering a sense of companionship and understanding. This genre also encourages a healthier approach to sexuality, promoting inclusivity and the idea that pleasure is a perennial facet of human experience, not something that fades with age.

Conclusion

Considering the strides made in embracing the full spectrum of adult pleasure, it becomes clear that the convergence of maturity and sensuality is more than a fleeting trend. It reflects a deeper societal shift towards a world where every age is appreciated for its unique contribution to our understanding of human connection—demonstrating once and for all that passion is timeless and desire knows no expiration date.

Product Review: Connection G-spot Vibrator by EdenFantasys

Photo taken from: edenfantasys.com

I was sent the Connection G-spot Vibrator by EdenFantasys for review.  It is an app controlled vibe and when I opened the package, out pops this cute little duck shape vibe with a magnetic base for charging.  Do not let the size fool you, when I say, it’s powerful…that’s an understatement.

It came fully charged so that I could get right into it.  I was instructed to download their app and register it.  I have an iPhone, so it was easy to download.  It was a little challenging getting through the app, but if you are patient, you can do it.  Once in the app, it is user friendly and there is a community of people all over the world that you can chat with, if you want to.  I went straight to the functions so I could see what this baby could do.

Photo taken from: edenfantasys.com

The modes and functions look the same but do entirely different things.  You can even combine them to give you an incredible experience.

I tried all of the variations to see which one I like and was not disappointed by any of them.  I even mixed and matched them and my orgasms were intense with some and more intense with others.  I have to say, I truly enjoyed each and every use with this vibe.  I consider myself an expert toy user and I would buy this again and again.  I recommended it to my friends and followers.

What Makes Using it Amazing?

There are so many qualities that make this toy amazing, such as:

It has 7 Air Pulse modes for that sweet, oral-like pleasure, and 7 massage modes for the perfect G-spot pressure.  The whole experience with the app is that you determine how intense you want it or not.  Your partner can install the app to enjoy in the fun of pleasing you.

Finally, the fact that it is waterproof is a plus in my books.  I actually put it in the tub to see if it was truly waterproof and it did not fail.  The most amazing part about this product is the price…only $49.99.  You heard right, they made it affordable for any budget!

Poor Choices: The Fine Line Between Exploration and Exploitation of Women’s Sexuality in Today’s Film

Image found at Pexels, taken by Timur Weber

So there’s this widely lauded award-nominated film, Poor Things, that purports to depict a positive portrait of feminist sexuality. In this motion picture, a slimy perv creates a being–who calls her maker God–that basically boasts the body of a woman and the mind of a child. Ah, but no worries Ladies, because soon a handsome, young virile hero appears in her life to stand by her side as she uses her wits and cunning to overcome and rise above this terrible situation–finding a sparkling new life in which she claims free agency and discovers the magic of mutually consensual, healthful relations, discovering herself and her own worth at the same time.

Um, nope. Actually, that’s not the plot of the movie. At all. Instead, the heroine known as Bella Baxter is molested and kidnapped by yet another slimy perv–only she happens to prefer this slimy perv better than the last one, so the two embark on a root tootin erotic adventure that finds her drifting into prostitution, humping everything that moves–and some things that don’t–and (or so it’s implied in one oh so memorable scenario) having sex with a man as his two minor sons watch.

Why do I think that the FBI is going to bust down my door at any given moment now, just for typing that last hideous sentence? Ah, no, it’s just the Pizza Guy. Whew! That was a close one.

But seriously, Folks–this supposed take on women’s sexuality, written by a man, directed by a man, based on a book by a man, are we seeing a pattern here?–breaks more rules of feminist erotica (and, as a bonus, human decency) than I can count.

Plus it breaks the cardinal rule of pissing off The Feminist Sexpert–something that far too many faux feminist sex flicks have a tendency to do.

Another prime example takes the form of Breaking the Waves, a 1996 award winner written and directed by a man, that tells the tale of a woman’s sexual awakening.  Bess’ introduction to sex is actually a nurturing and jovial one, as she and her husband enjoy a blissful honeymoon–with her loving mate introducing her to the joys of marital intercourse. Why couldn’t the movie be about that? But nooo–the hubby is permanently disabled in an accident. And when he encourages her to seek sensual satisfaction in the arms of other men, does she find a hunky gardener to do the job–ala Sean Bean in Lady Chatterley’s Lover? Nope. She JO’s an old dude on a bus before running from said bus and throwing up. Then, as an encore, she has herself shipped out to a workmans’ boat, where she is beaten and raped. Then she dies.

My biggest issue with these films lies in the display, objectification and abuse of the female body for a fraudulent purpose; the attempt to deceive the viewer into the belief that, as long as you show a gal having lots and lots of sex–consensual or otherwise–you are celebrating her sexuality.

Want to celebrate a woman’s sexuality? Tell a story in which a mature, capable woman embarks on sensual adventures with partners her own age and attractiveness level (or perhaps younger, providing that they are of legal age), with no elements of violence or coercion. Show them laughing, learning, having fun, and climaxing all over the place. Show just as much of the male body as you do its female equivalent. And go beyond the body to show and celebrate who she is a person. Above all, stop calling her a thing.

It goes without saying, of course, that we need more women telling women’s stories on film, in this and all genres. Yet, sadly, I can’t quite let the ladies off the hook. The Fifty Shades series, written and directed by women and based on a book written by a woman. 365 Days, directed and written by a mixed team, based on a book by a woman. Catherine Breillat’s Romance, written and directed by a woman. 9 and a Half Weeks, directed by a man, written by a mixed writing team, based on a book by a woman. Secretary, directed by a man, written by a mixed team. All of these works imply that women derive pleasure from pain and humiliation.

By contrast, the films A Night in Heaven (directed by a man, written by a woman), Thief of Hearts (directed by a man, written by another man), Good Luck to You, Leo Grande (directed and written by women), Coming Soon (written and directed by women), the Magic Mike series (written and directed by men), The Stud (directed by a man, written by a mixed team, based on a book by a woman), the latest version of Lady Chatterley’s Lover (the most recent version of which was directed by a woman, written by a man, and based on a book by a man), Addicted (directed by a man, written by a mixed team, based on a book by a woman), Cheri (directed by a man, written by a man, based on a book by a woman), Blue Bayou (directed and written by women), Cabin Fever (directed and written by women, based on a book by a woman), Paris, France (directed and written by men), and The Love Scenes series (directed by a man, written by men and women) all did a flawless job of telling romantic stories of women finding sexual liberation through the exploration of their fantasies–and at the hands of men who coax and seduce, not force.

The point is that people of all genders and persuasions can convey a positive, healthy portrayal of women’s sexuality in the cinema–and they also can sell women a royal bill of goods by releasing misogynistic crap.

Furthermore, a male critic–reporting for the Beniverse Movie Review Channel–pretty much shared my viewpoints about Poor Things in his amazing review, “Poor Things Can’t Escape the Male Gaze.” And one of his viewers summed up the movie perfectly in the comments.

“So, it’s really not about empowering women sexually; it’s just another man’s sex fantasy.”

Product Review: the Namii™ by Biird

Photo taken fromhttps://www.biird.co/products/namii?variant=40901867765807

I received the Namii™ by Biird for a product for review.  First, I have to say the packaging was beautiful.  It is eye catching, and the box was unlike anything I had ever seen.  The artwork on the packaging was phenomenal.

Photo taken from https://www.biird.co/products/namii?variant=40901867765807

When I opened the box, I was excited to see the design and the charger.  Again, very innovative and unlike any product on the market.  I have seen hundreds of products with my over 30 years in the industry and this item had me super excited.

The Namii™ by Biird, is a new 2-in-1 clitoral stimulator that comes with both suction and vibration functions that can be used independently or at the same time. The great thing about this toy, it is hands-free! It comes with a wireless magnetic charging base that serves as a mood lamp.  It let’s you know when it is fully charged when the light goes off.

Photo taken from https://www.biird.co/products/namii?variant=40901867765807

The Namii’s suction feels like you are receiving great oral sex and makes you orgasm within minutes.  It gives you that leg shaking orgasm with or without a partner.  With its 5 suction intensities & 5 vibration patterns it fulfilled my every want and need after the first use.  It is fully waterproof & whisper quiet, smooth, squish, body-safe silicone and has an amazing mood light charging base.

Biird is a female-led pleasure positive brand from the Netherlands. Their mission is to dispel the taboo surrounding sex toys and other products designed specifically to make you feel good.  They are the 2022 winner of the European Product Design Award.

They were a big surprise to the industry and after working with industry-leading pleasure brands for more than 20 years, they’ve come to know the restrictions and barriers placed on sex toys all too well.  The crafted beautiful sex toys, made with only the highest quality body-safe materials and have made them affordable and available for everyone to enjoy.

Overall, I give them two thumbs up and a fist bump for their packaging, innovation, and powerful clit stimulator.  This is a must have in your toy box.

Great Sex: Does it Exist?

Photo by Becca Tapert on Unsplash

Great Sex, does it exist? This answer will be different for everyone. No person has the same idea as another because we are all unique. What one thinks is great, the other might think, ‘no way’, and vice versa. Let us dive in to some examples. When talking with my friends on this subject, the answers varied. One thing for sure is that age plays a role. What you thought was great when you were in your twenties, a lot of times changes because of flexibility and injuries.

For myself, I am not as bendy as I once was, making it challenging to do some positions that brought about great sex. Another example one of my friends mentioned was that ever since they hurt their knee, they find positions they once enjoyed now cause them pain.

Do you find sex to be great during the day or night?

Photo by Hannah Skelly on Unsplash

By day, a quicky in the afternoon at your place or maybe a romp in the storage closet at work can be fun. Or do your ‘wants’ come out at night, when, with the cover of darkness as your disguise, you can come alive with playfulness.

Maybe sex for you is great when you check in at a hotel, not having to deal with anything else in your life. It can be a moment when no one else is pulling at you or your time so you are able to give sex your undivided attention.

Could sex be really good if it is forbidden? Is this because you should not be with that someone for whatever reason, such as they are married or the true love story like Romeo and Juliet.

There is something to be said for having something that you are not allowed. Our first instinct, no matter our age, when told we cannot have something is it just makes us want it even more than before.

Some great sex can be experienced in the shower, having the water hit your body while feeling pleasure. Is it because the water gives you the feeling of dripping from cum, giving you the illusion of longer and greater play? When playing in the shower or bath, be careful and remember to use the non-slip sticky little duckies or flowers that you put on the floor of the shower or bathtub to prevent falls.

What about a trip, such as getting away to a cabin in the woods or lying on the beach on a remote island? Could it be knowing no one is around that lets you throw stress and fear out the window and allows you to enjoy sex to the fullest?

Is sex really great when you are expressing yourself in the open, like having sex on a public bench, at a restaurant, or in a movie theater? But I must say, be warned; practice this one carefully because it is illegal in many areas around the world. Nevertheless, it can be very thrilling because of the possibilities of getting caught.

Have you ever had a one-night stand and it was incredible?

Was it because you were free to do what you wanted to do? Could have it been great because you were free of being judged against previous acts? This one is not for the faint of heart. We, by default, are not wired to always be willing to do a one-night stand. When put in this position, try to enjoy it and make the best of it. If it is incredible for both of you, you could find yourself coming back to each other for another great sexual adventure.

Photo by Kazi Mizan on Unsplash

Whatever sex you think is great, it is important to know you can have a variety of great sexual experiences or just one preferred way. Sex can be great with your partner, or with a group, or just yourself. This subject is limitless regarding possibilities and endless combinations; great sex can still happen.

Two of my friends both made interesting comments. One said she has never had great sex and she is in forties. The other said her time has passed by; her words, ‘it is in the rearview mirror.’ In both cases my response was, ‘is this what you want’? They both kind of just shrugged their shoulders.

The best way to look at great sex is if you want it, keep trying different things. Do not be afraid to try new things. There is something to the saying ‘practice makes perfect’. You never know what might strike your fancy. Oh, and if you are by yourself and you think you cannot have great sex, that is not true at all. You know you. You are in charge of your pleasure.

There are so many fun sex toys that you can try to find out which one will make your toes curl. Some of my best sex is with myself because it is ‘all about me’. Although an action is happening when engaged in great sex, it is more of a feeling you are experiencing. More often than not, the feeling has to do with your outlook or attitude regarding sex.

If you engage in sex with an open mind and a positive outlook, the chances are better that you will have great sex; if you are closed minded and have a negative attitude, it will not be great. Remember the more fun you have the more calories you burn; win-win. As always, the take away is to have fun and always keep things consensual (even with yourself).

Ask the Expert Interview with Kac Young

I met Kac Young at a memorial for my beloved friend, Jackie Zeman, known for her role as Bobbie Spencer on the ABC soap opera, General Hospital for 45 years. She died soon after her 70th birthday from cancer and was surrounded by her loving family.

Jackie and Kac were close friends for decades and Jackie would give me Kac’s books as gifts because she knew that I would enjoy them. Like Jackie, Kac is active on behalf of animal rights and fostering women’s rights. She is also dedicated to healing humans and animals by creating a long life through holistic healing methods.

As I listened to Kac’s speech at Jackie’s memorial, I felt my heart fill with love and sorrow.  Losing a best friend can be one of life’s most stressful experiences and it can cause a wide range of emotions that maybe difficult to control. I was devastated that I couldn’t see her before she died or say goodbye, but Jackie always wanted Kac & I to connect, and it was her beautiful energy that led me to do this interview with Kac Young about Healing.

Kac Young has been a producer, writer, and director in the Hollywood television industry for over 25 years. Kac has also earned a PhD in Natural Health and a Doctorate in Naturopathy.

As we came to the end of our interview, Kac said that she works with energy to help heal the mind, body, and spirit! And isn’t that what we all want? It’s certainly the reason why I created a course on Self-Healing and a program for Certified Healing Coaches and Healing Professionals. But the driving force for this interview was my friendship with Jackie, who I worked withon Sex Drive, a radio show, lived together in Malibu, we did charity work for disabled children at Ahead With Horses and traveled together to Aspen where we stayed with our fun friend Barbi Benton and to Florida where we stayed with our dear friend Esther Lifshutz.
