It’s St. Paddy’s Day! Dye Your Pubies Green!

It’s time to color your hair down there! Get your Betty ready for St. Paddy’s Day! Celebrate the fun holiday by dyeing the hair that covers your “Lucky Betty.” “Treat your Betty like a pot-o-gold,” say the makers of the safe-for-pubies hair dye. And when St. Patrick’s day is over, they have a number of other colors, such as “Malibu Betty,” a groovy teal blue for summer.

If you’re really into it you can trim your hedge fro into the shape of a four leaf clover, as the Lucky Better comes with a four leaf clover stencil.

But is it safe? The company says it’s “ammonia free and hassle free,” so we assume it won’t burn your bush.

The idea of this product line came from artist Nancy Jarecki, who says “I hadn’t planned on starting a cosmetics company. But sitting in a hair salon in Rome a few years ago, I made a discovery. As I saw women leaving the salon, I couldn’t help noticing that some would linger by the door. After a few minutes, their colorist would come back with a little paper bag, hand it to them and send them cheerfully on their way. When I inquired about this mysterious ritual, the receptionist said: “Per sotto, per farli combaciare,” meaning: “For the hair down there…to make it match.” I thought, “How genius… A home coloring kit for the hair down there!” I knew there were no specialized products like this in America.”

The company also offers “Bridal Betty” blue, a sweet light blue color that people use for bridal party gifts and bridal shower gifts. For $14.99 plus shipping your Betty is a born again virgin.
