Where Are The Riskiest Places People Had Sex?

From doing it on the boss’ desk to a quickie at the fast food drive-thru, to sex on a moving roller coaster, people love having sex in risky places. The riskier the better, and the more people think they might get caught, the more they like doing it in weird places.

A survey of 2,000 people was conducted by Onepoll for Edenfantasys, a huge sex toy store that encourages adventurous sex play. It found that 69% of American “had sex in a place they risked getting caught.” 76% of American have had sex outdoors. 25% have been caught doing the nasty in a risky place or a place they shouldn’t be doing it in. (Over 10% of people admitted to doing it in their roommate’s bed.)

Other places people confessed to doing it were at the top of the Empire State Building and the Eiffel Tower, on a train track, under a stage during a concert, in a courthouse bathroom before appearing in front of a judge, while driving 70 mph, in a car during a car wash, in a port-O-Potty, and in the New York City subway.

One question I have is “Why don’t I get to see people doin’ the nasty in public more? 9% of people said they were barely watching the movie and had sex at a movie theater. (Scenes I’d like to see.)

When asked where they did it around the house, 48% said they liked the kitchen best. One of the most popular places for sexy time is in a car. 70% of the people surveyed said they had enjoyed some “road head.” Another study conducted by the Journal of Sexual Research  said that doing it in a car is still a sexy hot spot.

“Sex and cars have gone together since the car was invented,” said Dr. Struckman-Johnson,” the author of that study. (The back seat is the most popular place for doing a little “back seat driving”, followed by the front seat.)

From a psychological stand-point, having sex in a place where you might get caught heightens the excitement level, raises the adrenaline, and ups the sexual tension. Plus, the fact that there is an actual legal charge of “indecent exposure” makes it more sexciting.

One fun take-away from the survey was that 58% of people said that sex “somewhere other than the bedroom made them happier in their relationship.” And that “70% of respondents said that having sex in a adventurous location made them feel closer to their partner.” It’s Spring, so its time to get out and get it on, somewhere, anywhere.
